Oregon-based company’s search engine solution guarantees high-ranking results
RISMedia, August 26, 2004 - Realtors are seeing impressive search engine results with Ads For Free, Inc., an Oregon-based technology company that has brought its first-page search engine recognition solution to several industries, including the real estate profession.
The company has developed a program that guarantees real estate professionals placement on the first page of search engine results-a prized position that dramatically increases the chance that consumers will click on those sites and, ultimately do business with those companies.

“Ask yourself this question,” says Rothman. “How often do I click a sponsored link or a pop-up banner? Unless you are already paying for this type of link, and feel invested in the concept, the chances are that you either answered ‘rarely’ or ‘never.’ Now, how often do you search online and click on the first page results? Is it 10 times more often; 20 times? So they are bidding against each other to be 20 times less likely to get a hit.”
Ads For Free achieves first page search engine recognition for its clients by operating free ads sites in several states (and growing), where each ad is an individual Web site complete with keywords automatically submitted to the major search engines.
“We believe that it is best to come up under a wide variety of searches, from one word to 20,” says Rothman. “So we turn each listing, each database entry into a unique optimized static Web page that is constantly submitted and updated with unique search words. Sold items are time and date stamped, market sold, and maintained forever so that our presence is cumulative.”
Sherrer says, “Ads for Free is the second highest referral source for our Web page. Our property information requests have increased beyond our exceptions - some of these requests have already purchased property through us.”
