Christine Rae is the founder, president and CEO of Ontario-based CSP International, a provider of home staging training and certification. In 2019, CSP International launched the upgraded CSP Elite program, which educates agents, measures their knowledge with an exam and offers recognition they can use to let the public know they’re specialists in marketing. The course provides a workbook, a reference manual, Instagram images, a logo and a full marketing support resource for graduates.

An industry pioneer, bestselling author and award-winning entrepreneur, Rae has influenced the staging and real estate industries from the beginning of her career. Whenever seeds of doubt creep in, Rae remembers a sentiment from Frank Lloyd Wright that it’s the belief in something that makes it happen.

“So many people told me my idea of staging wouldn’t work, no one would do it and no one would pay for it,” says Rae. “I went on to build a successful staging business and then a school for others who want to have a business providing staging services to property sellers. As a result of my belief, thousands of people work at something they love.”

Rae is the author of “Home Staging for Dummies” and “SOLD,” as well as editor of Staging Standard Magazine. Furthermore, her vision of taking real estate marketing to the next level was instrumental in the start of the Real Estate Staging Association.
