Joe Horning is president and a third-generation leader of Shorewest Family of Companies, which includes Shorewest REALTORS®, Heritage Title Services, Wisconsin Mortgage Corporation, Shorewest Insurance and Shorewest Real Estate Institute. Additionally, as 2018 chairman of the board of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE), Horning played an integral role in helping Paul Boomsma take the helm from Pam O’Connor during LeadingRE’s leadership transition.

Most notably, however, Horning, who is also a Metro MLS chairman, led a strategic joint venture with a commitment to a collaboration of MLS services. In fact, it is the first major MLS joint venture between two noncontiguous markets: Arizona and Wisconsin. The comprehensive network is set to better serve over 45,000 broker and agent subscribers.

While the accomplishment is a significant advancement in technology, because of his commitment to the people side of the business, Horning continues to put the emphasis on the REALTOR® community.
