Gil Bricault Joins Randall, Realtors GMAC

RISMEDIA, Feb. 26, 2007-Randall, Realtors GMAC has announced that Gil Bricault, CRB has joined their team as director of agent development. In his role with the company, Gil will work to enhance the market presence of Randall, Realtors throughout Rhode Island and Eastern Connecticut and assist in the continued development of the products and services offered to agents.

"As a former president of the Rhode Island Statewide Multiple Listing Service and past member of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors Board of Directors, Gil brings tremendous experience and integrity to our organization. He is one of the most well liked Brokers in the state and a true leader in our industry, and I am confident that he will be an asset to all of us."

Gil Bricault's successful track record speaks for itself. After earning his Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University, Gil entered the real estate industry in 1978 as a sales associate. He was promoted to sales manager of his office within a year. In 1982, Gil began his company, J.W. Riker, Realtors with two sales associates and grew the company until its acquisition in 1999 by The DeWolfe Companies.

Over the years, through internal growth and acquisition, J.W. Riker grew to a total of 250 sales associates and 25 employees in 17 locations throughout the state. At the time of its acquisition, the company was the largest residential real estate company in Rhode Island and the 177th largest real estate firm in the country.

After the acquisition until mid 2004, Gil remained with The DeWolfe Companies (subsequently purchased by NRT-Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage). Initially he worked as the Regional Vice President of Sales and subsequently as President of DeWolfeCares Inc. (subsequently Coldwell Banker Cares), the 501c3 charitable arm of the company.

Throughout his distinguished career, Gil has served in many leadership roles within the real estate industry and his community. He served as President of Rhode Island Statewide Multiple Listing Service in 1995, President of Greater Providence Board of Realtors in 1998 and he was a member of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors Board of Directors for one year. In 1999, he was chosen by the Dwight Eisenhower People to People Campaign as a real estate representative to visit Cuba as part of a real estate delegation. Furthermore, Gil has served as President of the Smithfield Rotary Club and the North Central Chamber of Commerce.

Gil Bricault resided in Woonsocket, RI for over twenty years. He is a graduate of Mount St. Charles Academy. He and his wife Pat recently moved back to Rhode Island from Southwest Florida, where they lived for the past five years, and will be residing in Westerly, RI.

Randall, Realtors GMAC has eight offices, including North Kingstown, South Kingstown, Charlestown, and Westerly in Rhode Island, and Mystic, Stonington, Waterford and Lisbon / Norwich in Connecticut. Offering a full range of real estate services since 1977, Randall, Realtors is one of GMAC Real Estate's largest affiliates and is one of the largest real estate brokerages in New England.
