RISMEDIA, March 18, 2008-The National Association of Realtors® (NAR) with award-winning partner, Learning Library Inc., announces its upgrade of Realtor® University, the Association’s state-of-the-art, online education delivery system. The iLMS DirectorTM – the new learning management system (LMS) delivers innovative and improved services and functionality for real estate professionals taking online courses leading to continuing education credit and official Realtor family designations and certifications.

With the new LMS, Realtor University now includes a more user-friendly registration and checkout process, robust catalog and e-commerce applications and better tracking and reporting options for administrators. Realtor University offers over 300 hours of real estate education, including two new courses, the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and the Realtor Safety course, featuring the use of 3-D technology.

“Realtor University is NAR’s response to real estate professionals’ continued migration from traditional learning to online learning,” said Ken Burlington, NAR vice president of Education Services. “Learning Library has been a valued partner for years. NAR, Learning Library, Inc. and our content providers have been very pleased with our continued growth. We commend their efforts in designing the new LMS that powers Realtor University and enhances the learning experience. The quality and range of course offerings, together with the convenience and flexibility of online learning are exactly what today’s busy Realtor need.”

Today, the organizations says that Realtor University has experienced a 12% increase in site registrants since launching the new LMS, December 2007.

Learning Library, Inc. recently was awarded the first-ever WOW! Award and a Silver Award for their superior learning experiences delivered by electronic technology by the Canadian Society of Training and Development.

“Realtor University continues to raise the bar for web-based real estate education,” said Sabine Steinbrecher, Learning Library, Inc. Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “We are pleased to support Realtor University in providing students with an extremely user-friendly experience, quick and easy access to courses, exams as well as tools and information they need to earn continuing education and designations. No other training is faster, better or more cost-effective for Realtor to earn credits and designations!”
