Friday’s Featured Listing: Coconut Grove’s Lofts at Mayfair

RISMEDIA, March 28, 2008-Lofts at Mayfair, an affordably luxurious loft project located in Coconut Grove, was honored as Best Loft at The Developers & Builders Alliance’s 2007 Community Advancement Awards held recently at Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida. In 2006, Lofts at Mayfair won a gold medal for architecture at the BEST awards sponsored by the BASF. 3-28lofts-at-mayfair2.jpgReinaldo Borges, of architecture firm Borges & Associates accepted the award on behalf of developer Christa Development Corporation. John Casey, president of Christa Development Corporation, said, “Modern architecture and urban design help to crystallize the live-work concept, which makes this project so exciting for South Florida.”

The top 43 projects and organizations globally were recognized that evening, for setting new industry standards and contributing to the community’s growth. The black-tie dinner Gala benefited the Miami Rescue Mission and was hosted for Chairmen, Presidents, CEOs and Business Owners in the real estate development and building industries.

The Developers & Builders Alliance (DBA) is an exclusive membership organization founded in 2002 by Mrs. Veronica Mendieta, chairman & CEO, with the mission of unifying decision makers in the real estate development and construction industries from both national and international markets. In an effort to advance the success of the industry, the DBA provides a unique platform, where communication, innovation and industry information is exchanged among fellow leaders and key government officials.

Lofts at Mayfair is a 102-unit, two building complex completed in 2007. It is located steps away from Cocowalk, with its ‘round-the-clock dining, shopping and entertainment.
