Howard Hanna Real Estate Adds New Business Unit

RISMEDIA, April 2, 2008-For the second time since the new year began, Howard Hanna Real Estate Services has expanded its mix of real estate related businesses to consumers. The company has formed a new business venture known as Great Lakes Surveying, which provides surveying services on a regional and national basis.

According to the company, the new business was formed as part of Howard Hanna’s business philosophy of saving consumers time by enabling them to obtain all of their real estate needs, including the required surveying of a newly-purchased single-family home, through one company, under one roof.

“Great Lakes Surveying provides another component of our philosophy of one-stop shopping,” states Fred Corsi, vice president for Real Estate Related Businesses, Howard Hanna Real Estate Services. “Home buyers who turn to us for title and mortgage services, as well as to purchase their homes, can rest assured in knowing that Barristers Title and Howard Hanna Mortgage Services will coordinate with Great Lakes Survey for the required surveying of their newly purchased home. To my knowledge, no other real estate company in the United States provides that service.”

The new survey venture, which started shortly after the year began, is already meeting the needs of consumers. “So far we’re averaging approximately 300 surveys a month and expect to be providing 500 surveys monthly when the home buying season hits its peak in just a few short weeks,” adds Corsi. “Our new survey service is another example of the innovation we use to make the home buying process simpler and less expensive for consumers.” Great Lakes Surveys currently are offered in Ohio and will be in Pennsylvania, New York and West Virginia later this year.
