RISMEDIA, April 14, 2008-Robert Moline has been named president and chief operating officer (COO) of HomeServices of America, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, and home services provider in the United States.The announcement was made by Ron Peltier, CEO of HomeServices of America, who now also assumes additional duties with the position of Chairman.
Moline has 22 years of real estate brokerage experience, most recently as CEO of HomeServices of Nebraska, Inc., which does business under the HOME Real Estate and Woods Bros. Realty brands. As COO, Moline will be responsible for all corporate functions, including finance, human resources, information technology, insurance and legal services, and will provide support through those areas to each HomeServices company.
One of the industry’s most respected professionals, Moline was appointed to the Nebraska Real Estate Commission, where he served for six years. He recently completed his term as a director of the Realty Alliance and has served on other industry boards.
He began his career as a certified public accountant with Peat, Marwick and Mitchell, and over the years has been the recipient of numerous professional and civic accolades.
