Buffett runs Berkshire Hathaway, Inc., which is the parent company of HomeServices of America. The Presidential Medal of Freedom is considered the country’s highest civilian honor, and Buffett joins 14 other individuals who will be awarded this honor by President Barack Obama early next year.
