(MCT)—Master brander Donald Trump has sold his custom estate in Rancho Palos Verdes for $7.15 million.

Located at Trump National Golf Course, which he owns and operates, the 11,000-square-foot Mediterranean mansion features a game room with a bar that is a replica of the one at the course restaurant.

The five-bedroom, nine-bathroom home, built in 2010, has a great-room entry, a 1,000-square-foot kitchen, marble flooring and wall-to-ceiling sliding doors that disappear from view. A wine room is enclosed behind glass, and a patio and fire pit are located off the master bedroom. An infinity pool sits in the courtyard.

Trump, 65, is chairman and chief executive of his own real estate development company; founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts; and star and producer of “The Apprentice” (2004 to present), on which contestants vie for a chance to work for him.

The New Yorker splits his time in Los Angeles between his home in Beverly Hills and his work in Rancho Palos Verdes, where he has completed five houses and sold three. The golf course community has lots for 75 homes.

He listed the mansion last year at $12 million.

Ample Showers in “Psycho” Star’s Old Home
The onetime Beverly Hills-area home of actress Janet Leigh is on the market at $3.75 million.

Built in 1976, the ocean-view house is set on a promontory of more than half an acre with a swimming pool and tennis court. The 4,432-square-foot house features high ceilings, four bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Leigh, who died in 2004 at age 77, starred in “Touch of Evil” (1958) and “The Manchurian Candidate” (1962) but is perhaps best remembered in film for her murder in the shower scene of “Psycho” (1960).

The property last changed hands in 2010 for $2.8 million.

Beverly Hills Trophy Home Up For Grabs
Former Yahoo Inc. Chief Executive Terry Semel and his wife, Jane, have listed their estate in Beverly Hills at $12.75 million.

The 1987 contemporary, designed by Robert Offenhauser, features a two-story entry with a skylight and floor-to-ceiling glass and iron doors. There are vaulted ceilings, gallery-size walls, four bedrooms, 6 ½ bathrooms and 8,800 square feet of living space. The master bedroom suite, with a sitting area, fireplace, dual bathrooms and dual dressing rooms, opens to a covered patio. A detached screening room includes a kitchen, shower, sauna and steam room.

On nearly three-quarters of an acre, the estate has a gated, circular driveway and a swimming pool. The trophy home is in the “flats” of Beverly Hills.

Semel, 68, left Yahoo in 2007 after six years at the helm. He is also the former chairman of Warner Bros.
