The Need to Go Mobile Is Now

In support of Google’s Go Mo initiative, Mobile Real Estate launched a free online tool in January that allows REALTORS® to test their website to ensure it is optimized for mobile viewing. Along with the ability to test your site at www.testmysitenow.com, Mobile Real Estate released the mobile starter kit, which makes it easy REALTORS® to go mobile, allowing them to mobilize their website in minutes.

Seeing the importance of this initiative, The Real Estate Book has now purchased the Mobile Starter Kit for all their advertisers across the U.S. and Canada.

“This is a great initiative that John Lim and his team have brought to the real estate industry,” said Scott Dixon, president of The Real Estate Book. “That’s why we felt strongly enough to expand our mobile offer to all our advertisers at no additional cost to them.”

The Real Estate Book recently launched single property mobile sites, QR codes and text codes as part of their standard advertising package. “Traffic and lead activity through the new mobile marketing tools has been substantial,” Dixon added, “so expanding our offering to include agent mobile websites is the right thing to do for our advertisers—and for home shopping consumers.”

About Mobile Starter Kit:
According to the company, the Mobile Starter Kit gives the REALTOR® the ability to create their own personal mobile agent website, online in minutes. Once implemented and linked to their own URL, this mobile website generates leads easily from any smartphone or other mobile device. Homebuyers and sellers can view the agent’s listings, review details about the agent, click to follow social networking sites and most importantly, click to call. The mobile starter kit brings the use of text and QR codes full circle by offering REALTORS® the ability to be fully functioning on a mobile platform in conjunction with marketing efforts, the company notes.

To the agent, this means that all their marketing mediums work together—web, social, mobile, print advertising, direct mail, etc. The consumer moves seamlessly from medium to medium with a consistent marketing message and a rewarding experience.
