Life Is a Highway—Real Estate Coach Hits the Road to Deliver Industry’s Most Unique Leadership Tour

Home News

Reading Time: 4 mins read

• How being counter-intuitive is the difference between success and disaster
• How to avoid pains in the butt
• The keys to focus and how that impacts your destination
• How pushing your limits has an upside and a downside
• The things that bikers know that most leaders forget

“Our industry is certainly coming back, but it’s still volatile. Those five topics are the things I’ll be helping leaders think through,” says Staver.

Throughout his journey, Staver will be joined by friends for small stretches of the road, and he even looks forward to meeting some new faces as well. He’s already received positive feedback through email and Facebook from other bikers who want to meet up with him for certain parts of his adventure.

For the social media savvy, Staver plans on vlogging and blogging on his personal Facebook page and The Staver Group website. He and his team plan on posting daily with photos and information on where he is and what he’s doing.

When he’s not riding around the nation on his bike, Staver works as a professional keynote speaker, aiming to educate and motivate brokers and leaders throughout the country. Despite the industry’s transition period toward recovery, Staver offers some advice on how brokers can navigate inevitable challenges that lie ahead.

“The biggest challenge that brokers are facing is amnesia. We’re seeing prices creep back up, but we’re seeing contraction of inventory. The challenge that this amnesia creates is we’re forgetting all the promises we made ourselves the last five to six years when we were going through the worst of it. Before we go one step further with training or inventory, what are the three or four key lessons that we learned? Put them in granite in our offices and never forget them. Enforce that process intensely,” he says.
