RISMedia announces that Marshall Saunders of RE/MAX Results received the Tech Titan Award during RISMedia’s 18th Annual Power Broker Reception and Dinner at the National Association of REALTORS® Conference and Expo last week in San Francisco, Calif.

The RISMedia 2013 Real Estate Tech Titan Award is presented to brokerage leaders who have demonstrated an exceptional ability to adapt and integrate new and innovative tools and services within their organization to improve and enhance the overall consumer experience. This year’s award was sponsored by Trulia and was presented by Pete Flint, co-founder and CEO of Trulia Inc.

“Every day we see how technology empowers brokers and agents in the service of their clients and yet this is just the beginning,” said Flint. “Innovators who are developing solutions for professionals as well as home buyers and sellers will help the real estate industry grow and improve.”

Saunders, broker/owner for RE/MAX Results, grew up in the real estate business. His father, Bill Saunders, founded RE/MAX Results in 1986. Ten years later, Marshall joined Results as a real estate agent. By working upper bracket properties, relocation and sphere group marketing, he grew his real estate business to a successful level and earned RE/MAX Platinum Club five years in a row. In 2008, Marshall bought his father’s half of RE/MAX Results. Marshall, along with his business partner John Collopy, has grown RE/MAX Results to nearly 800 agents and has positioned it in the market as a tech-savvy, forward-thinking and growing brokerage.
