Women’s Fashion Tips for Comfortable Remote Working

Whether you have always worked from home or you have joined thousands of employees who have transitioned to remote working after the pandemic, it looks like remote working is here to stay. While working from home may have seemed like the perfect time to break out your favorite plaid pajamas, after the novelty wears off, you are likely wondering what to wear to your weekly Zoom meetings. These options are comfortable for flexible working while still offering a professional aesthetic.

Trouser-Style Leggings
A nice black trouser is a staple in office attire, but if you have lived in yoga pants for a few months, switching back to structured and uncomfortable office clothes doesn’t sound appealing. Thankfully, you can have the best of both worlds. Many yoga pant makers have pivoted to offer clothes with the comfort of leggings in a style ready for the office or your next video conference with the VP. The flexible material will mean you’re ready for stretches in between spreadsheets whenever you need some extra zen feelings.

Waffle Cardigans
If you’re still longingly staring at your waffle pajama set, a waffle cardigan may be just what you need. A casual option that can be styled with jeans or leggings, a waffle cardigan will offer all the comfort and coziness of your PJs while looking put together enough for an unexpected video call or a quick run to the store on your lunch break. Pair your waffle cardigan with a t-shirt and a long necklace for a stylish and work-appropriate athleisure look.

Sweater
Depending on your local climate, sweaters may be the ideal remote working clothing option. Stylish and elegant enough for a dinner party, yet soft and cozy enough for lounging, sweaters are ideal for any time of day. Dress your sweater up or down with jeans, a structured trouser or comfy leggings for an option that will serve you no matter what life looks like in the future.

Ballet Flats
Realistically, unless you are a dance instructor, your workmates are unlikely to see your feet in a video call. However, if going barefoot or putting on fuzzy slippers just makes you want to binge-watch a few shows, get into the work mindset with some proper footwear. Unlike the office, however, there’s no need to wear uncomfortable shoes. A few well-designed flats can elevate any outfit and ensure that you’re able to run out the door for a mid-day coffee run if you need a change of scenery.

These simple options will help you spruce up your closet with attire that you will feel confident and comfortable in all day long.
