Rapattoni Announces Integration with RPR Advanced Multi-List Platform™

Rapattoni Corporation and Realtors Property Resource® (RPR®) have jointly announced that Rapattoni customers may be among the first real estate professionals with instant access to live listing data and other MLS resources through RPR’s Advanced Multi-List Platform™ (AMP™).

“We’re looking to the future of the MLS business, anticipating the needs of our customers as well as the industry at large,” said Brian Tepfer, chief technology officer at Rapattoni. “Our MLS is architected to facilitate integration with a broad spectrum of emerging technologies, allowing MLSs to pull listing data from multiple sources and present it in a single interface. The new AMP™ integration is a dynamic example of how our MLS software uses listing information from multiple databases.”

Madeleine Talbot-Leighton, product manager at Rapattoni, added, “We are happy to work with RPR on their AMP™ project, making the MLS more powerful for our users.”

Rapattoni announced last fall that they would “separate their front end interface from their back end database, offering unparalleled flexibility in meeting the evolving needs of real estate associations and their members.” This versatile architecture enables “the Rapattoni MLS to integrate seamlessly with … AMP™ and other emerging technologies,” Rapattoni stated in its press release.

“The RPR AMP™ platform is designed to allow any number of different front-end applications to interact with the database and provide agents and brokers with a gallery of tools, programs, and choices that up until now were not available,” said Bob Bemis, vice president of business technologies for RPR. “What agents will be able to do in the future that they cannot do today is limited only by the imagination of the innovative software developers who are looking at AMP as an opportunity to break into the real estate marketplace.”

“Rapattoni is a long-time industry partner and veteran MLS system developer,” said Dale Ross, CEO of RPR. “RPR is extremely pleased that Rapattoni has embraced the AMP™ concept of an open database with universal access for all licensed application innovators. Rapattoni has been a leader in providing both association management systems and MLS technology to REALTOR® associations for decades,” he continued. “We look forward to working with the Rapattoni team to help them bring the promise of the AMP™ system to their many MLS clients.”
