New Long & Foster Mobile App Now Available

Long & Foster Real Estate has released a new mobile app for consumers and its agents, the company has announced. Produced in partnership with Real Estate Digital (RED), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xome Holdings, the Long & Foster app allows you to search properties for sale or rent throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast and connect with a Long & Foster real estate agent—all from your smartphone or tablet.

“In today’s connected world, people want swift and easy access to information, and the Long & Foster app provides just that,” says Barry Redler, chief marketing officer of The Long & Foster Companies, parent company of Long & Foster Real Estate. “From the built-in mortgage calculator and comprehensive property search to the Long & Foster agent and office search, our app helps ensure buyers and sellers can find what they’re looking for quickly and effortlessly.”

The app features easy-to-use, yet incredibly powerful tools and RED-developed intellectual property, such as Virtual View—an interactive function that allows you to use your phone’s camera to find information about properties near you. The app also maps schools and points of interest, such as hospitals, grocery stores and restaurants, near a selected property, and it includes flexible search functionality, allowing you to filter by multiple criteria.

The app’s built-in mortgage calculator makes it simple to determine an estimated monthly mortgage payment, and it enables you to save your favorite properties or searches. From those saved items, you can sign up for email notifications when new listings are added or changes occur to a favorited property—such as price drops. In addition, the app features an agent and office search that allows you to easily connect you with one of Long & Foster’s over 11,000 agents at its offices from North Carolina to New Jersey.

The Long & Foster app is available on both Apple and Android devices. You can download it from the App Store and from Google Play.
