Illinois REALTORS® recently welcomed a new EVP, Luke Bell. Bell served as the VP of Governmental Affairs and General Counsel for the Kansas Association of REALTORS® (KAR) since 2006. There, he directed the governmental, legal, political and public relations activities of KAR which represents 8,000 real estate professionals. Bell has extensive experience dealing with issues in local government and how they affect REALTORS.
Prior to joining KAR, Bell worked as a contract lobbyist in the Kansas Legislature and volunteered on various political campaigns. He holds a J.D. from Washburn University School of Law and a B.A. from University of Kansas.
