Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties has signed on as a lead sponsor of Golden Rainbow’s June 12 Ribbon of Life fundraising entertainment showcase. Ribbon of Life will be held Sunday, June 12 at 1 p.m. at Tropicana Las Vegas.

Ribbon of Life is an entertainment showcase featuring some of Las Vegas’ most popular headlining performers and raises thousands to help men and women living with HIV and AIDs in Southern Nevada. The annual event is hosted by Las Vegas’ leading LGBT service organization, Golden Rainbow. Established by the Las Vegas entertainment community in 1987, Golden Rainbow provides housing, financial assistance and education to men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada.
The theme of this year’s Ribbon of Life fundraiser is ‘Throwback 30’ to honor its 30th anniversary. “It’s an amazing showcase of some of the top headliners on the Las Vegas Strip and throughout the Las Vegas entertainment industry,” said Gordon Miles, president/COO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and board member for Golden Rainbow. “The stars in Las Vegas support Ribbon of Life every year and help thousands of people in our community living with HIV/AIDs.”
Singers, dancers, comedians and stars of popular Las Vegas shows will be featured at the Ribbon of Life, from shows including Jabbawockeez, Frank Marino’s Divas Las Vegas, Criss Angel’s Mindfreak, Zumanity, Michael Jackson ONE, Legends in Concert, Donny & Marie, Coyote Ugly, Le Reve and MJ Live. Alumni from iconic Las Vegas shows including Jubilee! and Folies Bergere are also scheduled to perform.
“The Ribbon of Life fundraiser is an original production every year, and features custom numbers from some of the most talented performers in Las Vegas,” says Miles. “It is also known for showcasing new acts and talent every year. It’s a great place to see all of your favorite performers while supporting an organization that provides vital services in our community.”
Ribbon of Life will include its famed Golden Rainbow Silent Auction with Las Vegas show tickets and travel packages along with special items donated by various local merchants.
