Reading Time: 1 min read

RISMEDIA, Jan. 26, 2007-Pacific Union GMAC Real Estate announced that Bill Facendini, a 17-year real estate industry executive, has joined the company as senior vice president.

In his new role, Facendini will help guide all aspects of Pacific Union GMAC Real Estate's ongoing operations. The company has 18 offices and more than 600 sales associates and staff serving the Bay Area throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco and Sonoma counties.

Facendini will report to Avram Goldman, who also recently joined GMAC Real Estate as executive vice president of the Western Region for GMAC Real Estate's Company-Owned Real Estate (CORE) offices. Goldman also serves as president and COO of Pacific Union GMAC Real Estate.

Facendini and Goldman have been colleagues for years, working together at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage before joining GMAC Real Estate.

Facendini began his real estate career in 1989 as a licensed sales associate. He served as a branch manager for Coldwell Banker from 1992 to 1999. In 1999 he was named senior vice president for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage with responsibility for Sonoma, Marin, Contra Costa, and Alameda counties.

"I am thrilled to join Pacific Union GMAC Real Estate and work with Avram to achieve the company's ambitious goals," Facendini said. "The company's reputation-built on the vision, hard work and commitment of its many outstanding sales associates-is without equal, and I look forward to my association with this wonderful firm."

Facendini was born and raised in Sonoma County. He lives in Sebastopol with his wife, Patty; they have six children and two grandchildren.
