ForeclosurePoint Enables Brokers and Agents to Turn Their Websites into Profit Centers

RISMEDIA, March 27, 2008-ForeclosurePoint, which provides online information and technology services to real estate professionals, home buyers and investors, announced the national launch of BrokerOffice, which enables real estate brokers and agents to make more money in the foreclosure market by turning their websites into foreclosure property portals that generate a high rate of buyer leads and sales.

ForeclosurePoint.com features more than 1.4 million foreclosure property listings, with property addresses, filing dates, estimated opening bids and satellite images, among other property details.

According to the company, with BrokerOffice from ForeclosurePoint on a real estate agency website, home buyers and investors can search and research default properties in a local or regional market. Searching is free, with agents collecting referrals from people interested in pursuing opportunities in the hottest segment of the residential real estate market today: foreclosure properties.

BrokerOffice is the only product available to real estate brokers and agents that displays listings including property addresses directly on agency websites, so visitors can research properties without leaving a broker or agency’s website.

BrokerOffice seamlessly integrates into individual and agency websites, maintaining the client company’s brand identity. ForeclosurePoint keeps the listings fresh, with no work or worry for customers. The search interface is easy for buyers to use, and there are additional online resources to help investors understand the foreclosure market.

“Opportunities abound for real estate professionals and buyers to profit from foreclosure properties, but until now the market has been largely closed to all but a few dedicated players,” said Chris Matty, ForeclosurePoint’s chief marketing officer. “ForeclosurePoint is opening the market with new services and informational tools for brokers and buyers that facilitate short-sale, auction, MLS and REO transactions.”

Matty added: “BrokerOffice turns real estate professionals into foreclosure experts, and allows them to monetize the foreclosure market right from their websites, with detailed foreclosure inventory and a highly effective system of capturing and converting buyer leads.”

Based on Beta testing of the service, BrokerOffice captures leads at a rate of between 15% and 30% of site visitors. By comparison, broker websites typically capture lead information on between 1% and 3% of website visitors.

“Foreclosure properties are hot, and we intend to capture our share of the deals in the markets in which we do business,” said Al Franzen and Mike Garrett of Windermere Real Estate, a residential real estate brokerage firm that operates in the Western U.S. “With BrokerOffice from ForeclosurePoint on our website, we’re able to attract a larger share of Internet traffic and generate meaningful leads for agents, who appreciate the business in this otherwise slowing market.”

BrokerOffice is available now in 35 states, including more than 800 counties and more than 80 metropolitan areas.

Additional product features and benefits include:

– Client acquisition and administration interface allowing brokers and agents to manage lead information online or export the data into common customer relationship management (CRM) tools
– Property listings include street number, and aerial and bird’s-eye map views of properties in most cities throughout the United States
– Portal resources include information on national and local foreclosure laws, and exclusive feature articles by foreclosure experts
