Zillow.com Partners with Baird & Warner

RISMEDIA, August 20, 2008-Zillow.com and Baird & Warner announced a partnership which enables Baird & Warner to automatically feed all of their listings to Zillow.com on a daily basis, joining the hundreds of partners participating in the Zillow Listings Feed program, which launched in November 2007 and has grown to more than 3 million listings.

According to the company, each listing Baird & Warner feeds to Zillow includes a description of the property with multiple photos and contact information for the listing agent, including links back to the Baird & Warner website where Zillow users can find more information and connect with a Baird & Warner sales associate to guide them through the home buying and selling process.

“We’re thrilled to have such a distinguished brand participating in our listings feed program,” said Jorrit Van der Meulen, Zillow’s vice president of partner relations. “Baird & Warner is the largest independent real estate broker in Illinois and the oldest in the country, and we believe this partnership will be extremely beneficial to our Chicago-area users.”

Added Steve Baird, president and CEO of Baird & Warner, “We constantly look for ways to maximize the marketing exposure for our listings. Every phase of the home sale process has been reengineered to ensure our sellers receive the highest level of service, including our robust online marketing efforts. By syndicating our listings to Zillow, we are able to expose our clients to Zillow’s 5 million monthly visitors-more than 375,000 from the state of Illinois alone.”

The Zillow Listings Feed program allows participating listings providers to automatically gain free marketing exposure for their listings on one of the most-visited real estate sites in the country, while providing Zillow’s users with a more robust search experience. Real estate brokerages post for-sale listings directly to the site in a bulk feed, giving the homes a virtual for- sale sign at no cost.

For enhanced exposure, individual agents can create a free profile page with photos, contact information and more details about the agent, linked directly from each listing.
