For REALTORS® on-the-go, any steps one can pursue to save time and aid in effective communication with clients are essential to building and maintaining success throughout a thriving career in real estate. For technology-savvy REALTORS® or for novices-in-training, Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® can help.

Through the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) REALTOR Benefits® Program, Lowe’s provides tools and services that facilitate a REALTOR®’s everyday tasks and improves the home-buying and -selling process for all parties involved. With Lowe’s robust program, REALTORS® can keep in touch with their clients, all while offering a variety of services and perks, which are free for all NAR members to take advantage of.

The included customizable direct mail and email platform assists in said communication, and gives agents the ability to pass on savings in the form of 10 percent-off coupons for use in Lowe’s stores. But it doesn’t stop there. REALTOR® members can also customize and tailor their messages with their own branding, photographs, tips, or any other piece of information he or she feels will benefit current and prospective clients.

According to Lori Barrett, a REALTOR® from Coldwell Banker Yorke Realty, York, Maine, Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® has helped her remain a top producer in her state. “What a fantastic tool to let my clients know that I am thinking about them. Lowe’s has done a nice job presenting a quality product that I’m proud to be associated with,” she says.

As most in the industry know, consumer content is key. With Lowe’s Program for REALTORS®’s monthly business-to-consumer enewsletter, Inside Out, agents have current information, industry news and housing information at their fingertips that can then be passed on to the appropriate clients. The six-day-a-week enewsletter, Daily Real Estate News, also works to ensure that REALTORS® are the experts in their markets, giving agents the material their customers want and demand.

REALTORS® also receive a discount on gift cards through the Lowe’s Program for REALTORS®, providing them with a 5 percent savings on any gift card purchased for their buyers or sellers. For agents who choose to purchase gifts for every transaction throughout the year, this savings is monumental and also keeps your name in the minds of your buyers and sellers.

The program’s many offerings prove to be an “invaluable tool,” according to Mike Silvester of HomeSmart International, Gilbert, Ariz. “I set up my buyer clients with a discount coupon to go purchase the appliances needed in the bank-owned home they bought that was missing all appliances and a garbage disposal. They had the purchase completed and set up the installations for the day after closing. Now, I have them signed up for everything Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® has to offer,” he says.

The Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® can even serve as an irreplaceable tool to keep track of clients coming or going. “As an added bonus, I can download the client activity list and use it as a marketing resource,” says Barrett.

“I enjoy the updated look my clients can achieve with purchases they can make at Lowe’s,” says Linda Denbow, Coldwell Banker Hunter Realty, Medina, Ohio. According to Denbow, Lowe’s coupons enhance the entire home-buying process. “Even a new home is always in need of something to make my clients’ home their own. Thank you for this extra tool that keep us REALTORS® in the loop with our clients.”
