F. Duffy Hanna

In 2021, F. Duffy Hanna led the launch and integration of Howard Hanna Financial Services’ OpenClose application. The game-changing platform allows borrowers to apply for loans online through a customer assist portal and makes it easy for consumers to navigate the process from home.

The platform also allows Howard Hanna employees to access clients’ financial documents, including account statements and tax returns. That saves time, reduces paper waste and streamlines the mortgage application process.

Duffy oversees the company’s mortgage and title insurance operations, plays an integral role in mergers and acquisitions, and participates in the development of the firm’s risk management policies. He speaks to real estate agents and brokers about risk management and appears before audiences both locally and across the United States.

Duffy gives back to his community in several capacities. He currently serves as chair of the Board of Trustees of Girls Hope Pittsburgh.
