In 2020, Teresa Palacios Smith was elevated to the role of chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer for HomeServices of America. In her role, she has grown diversity and inclusion initiatives across the company’s networks, providing training for its 52,000 network agents, working with the sales team in expanding its minority- and women-owned franchises, expanding their multicultural reach worldwide and serving as liaison with the multicultural associations focused on growing minority homeownership.

In addition, Palacios Smith developed and launched a live speaker series, available on Facebook and YouTube, featuring empowering and influential female leaders in the real estate housing ecosystem.

She also serves on the board of top housing organizations that support underserved communities and is recognized for her dedication to expanding leadership opportunities for women in real estate.
