RISMedia to Sponsor National Real Estate Online Convention & Exposition

RISMEDIA, Jan. 16, 2007-The "Sixth Annual National Real Estate On-Line Convention and Exposition," has been scheduled for Feb. 18-24, 2007 and the seven-day event is expected to attract over 50,000 real estate professionals-making it the largest industry gathering of real estate professionals. There is no charge for real estate professionals to attend this virtual event which is open to the entire real estate community worldwide.

The convention will feature two major keynote addresses, plus over 30 nationally recognized real estate trainers, authors and industry experts in four educational tracks: Top Real Estate Trainers and authors; Top Agent Success Strategies, Top Industry Leaders and Top Commercial Presenters.

Over 30 nationally recognized speakers and headliners will be featured headed by two major keynoters. Pat Vredevoogd-Combs, president of the National Association of Realtors®, representing more than 1.2 million members involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries will present the first Keynote "You Can Thrive!"

The second keynote will be presented by Alex Perriello, president and CEO of Realogy Franchise Group, the franchisor of five highly recognized real estate industry brands: CENTURY 21®, Coldwell Banker®, Coldwell Banker Commercial®, ERA®, and Sotheby's International Realty®. Perriello will present "Creating Real Value in the Virtual World!" The Keynotes will feature audience questions and feedback.

The Exposition at the 2007 Convention will feature over 200 booths open 24 hours a day during the event with the latest products and services of interest to today's real estate professionals. In addition to checking out new products and services at the booths attendees can win door prizes, hear presentations, view video presentations, get brochures and talk live with the vendors

Over 200 real estate associations and organizations worldwide have joined to sponsor this unique virtual event which is produced by the Real Estate CyberSpace Society with over 9000 real estate members from 28 countries. Many prominent real estate organizations and real estate media sources have banded together to make the sixth annual production of this event cost free to attendees.

The major sponsors for this annual event are RISMedia and RISMedia's Real Estate magazine, Matthew Ferrara & Company, The Real Estate Apprentice, RealtyU, and The Warren Group.

Society Executive Director, John M. Peckham III said "Like the five previous annual events which have grown steadily from 20,800 to 41,292 attendees and have featured over 140 national speakers, the 2007 On-line Convention brings real estate professionals all of the excitement and features of a "hard floor" convention. This year, in addition to Keynoters Vredevoogd-Combs and Perriello, attendees will learn from over 30 top-notch nationally recognized real estate trainers, authors and luminaries such as: Robert Ringer, Kendra Todd, Matthew Ferrara, Suzee Miller, Andy Rathbone, Dan Gooder Richard, Michael Russer, Terry Watson, and Pat Zaby."

"This year's event features networking centers including an array of discussion rooms at selected Expo Booths and a 24-hour "Ticker Tape" featuring special announcements regarding events, exhibitor chat room openings, special drawings."

"There is very little attendees will miss at this virtual event," Peckham concluded, "All of the elements of a "hard floor convention" will be there. The only thing missing will be out of pocket costs for airfare, hotel bills, lost shoe leather, aching muscles, travel hassle, registration fees – and time away from home!
