RE/MAX Allegiance to Post All Property Listings on Zillow.com

November 6, 2007
Reading Time: 2 mins read

RISMEDIA, Nov. 7, 2007-Zillow.com and RE/MAX Allegiance announced a partnership to feed all RE/MAX Allegiance property listings to Zillow.com. According to the two companies, this agreement for Zillow’s Listings Feed program allows home sellers listing with RE/MAX Allegiance to gain marketing exposure automatically on one of the most-visited real estate sites in the U.S. Approximately four million people visit Zillow every month, with 70% buying or selling now, or planning to in the next 1-2 years.

“We are always looking for ways to increase exposure of our listings where an interested buyer can immediately get to the listing agent. We owe that to our sellers,” said RE/MAX Allegiance chief executive Bob Blount. “Zillow has become one of the largest real estate sites in the country because of their outstanding content and innovative presentations, and we are delighted to partner with them.”

Under the agreement, all RE/MAX Allegiance property listings will be uploaded to Zillow on a daily basis. Home buyers on Zillow, will be presented with rich listing content, the ability to contact a RE/MAX Allegiance agent who can help guide them through the home buying experience and a link to the property listing on the RE/MAX site.

“We’re very excited and honored to be partnering with such a prestigious brokerage,” said Jorrit Van der Meulen, vice president of partner relations at Zillow. “The RE/MAX balloon represents quality and we are happy to deliver this to our consumers.”

RE/MAX Allegiance property listings will be live on Zillow.com with the launch of the Zillow Listings Feed capability later this year. Zillow Listings Feeds allow real estate brokerages to post for-sale listings directly to the site in a bulk feed, giving the homes a virtual for-sale sign at no cost. For enhanced exposure, individual agents can create a free profile page with photos, contact information and more details about the agent, linked directly from each listing.
