United Country Real Estate to Post All Property Listings on Zillow.com

November 9, 2007
Reading Time: 2 mins read

RISMEDIA, Nov. 12, 2007-Zillow.com and United County Real Estate announced a partnership to feed approximately 25,000 United Country property listings to the Zillow.com Web site on a daily basis. This agreement for Zillow’s Listings Feed program allows home sellers listing with United Country agents nationwide to automatically gain marketing exposure on one of the most-visited U.S. real estate sites. Approximately four million people visit Zillow every month, with 70% buying or selling now, or planning to in the next 1-2 years.

“United Country continues to execute on its listing partnership strategy. We are choosing who we share our more than 25,000 listings with carefully in an attempt to maximize exposure for our affiliates. We couldn’t be more excited about Zillow’s technology direction and traffic exposure,” said David Dickey, United Country chief technology officer.

According to the company, United Country property listings that currently reside on the United Country brand Web site will be uploaded to Zillow, providing sellers with additional marketing exposure for their properties while enhancing the search experience for buyers. Through the United Country listings hosted on Zillow, consumers will be linked back to unitedcountry.com where they can locate a sales associate to guide them through the home buying and selling experience.

Added Jorrit Van der Meulen, Zillow vice president of partner relations, “We are thrilled to provide Zillow users with such a varied base of for-sale listings throughout the country, and direct connections to United Country agents who can help them in their real estate search.”

United Country’s for-sale listings will be live on Zillow.com with the launch of the Zillow Listings Feed capability later this year. Zillow Listings Feeds allow brokerages to post for-sale listings directly to the site in a bulk feed, giving the homes a virtual for-sale sign for free on Zillow.com – the site that 54% of buyers say they used in their real estate search1. For enhanced exposure, individual agents can create a free profile page with photos, contact information and more details about the individual agent, linked directly from each listing.
