RISMEDIA, Nov. 28, 2007-Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE), a global network of independent real estate firms, recently declared Edina Realty the latest recipient of the prestigious RELO® Quality Certification (RQC), upon the company’s completion of a meticulous application and review process.
Launched in 2001, the RQC recognizes real estate companies with service excellence, professionalism and industry expertise in their relocation departments. Companies are evaluated by a committee of industry-leading professionals who review every aspect of the relocation departments, including technology resources, performance and production, staffing, training and continuing education, relocation services, advertising and marketing, and customer satisfaction.

According to the company, this achievement is the latest in Edina’s long history. The company was founded in 1955, when Emma Rovick borrowed $2,000 to buy a struggling real estate firm to make enough money and buy her daughter a piano. She inherited three sales people and sold $2 million in real estate that first year. Today, Edina Realty has nearly 3,000 sales associates and is one of the nation’s largest real estate companies, with more than 80 real estate offices throughout Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin.
