RISMEDIA, August 20, 2008-Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC announced that Hammock Dunes Real Estate Company in Palm Coast, Fla., has joined its luxury real estate network.

The firm now will do business as Hammock Sotheby’s International Realty and is owned by HD Associates, L.P., a real estate investment partnership headquartered in Dallas, with Judy Barnes serving as broker.

“This firm is well-positioned with a 17-year heritage in the community and possesses a great understanding of its unique market,” said Michael R. Good, president and chief executive officer, Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC. “Under the leadership of Rich Hottinger and Alan Messer as general managers and executive vice presidents, this firm is an ideal fit to represent our brand among luxury clientele in this key area.”

According to Hottinger, the combination of the brand’s worldwide reach and the firm’s market knowledge creates a compelling option for consumers. “When you take the Sotheby’s International Realty brand’s reputation for quality and add our understanding of the unique natural beauty of the northern Florida Atlantic Coast, you have a very powerful offering in this market,” he said.

Messer anticipates that the Sotheby’s International Realty brand affiliation will help the firm attain a broader international reach and exposure. “This brand provides global awareness and adds an additional marketing spectrum for our customers in this competitive real estate environment,” he said.

The Sotheby’s International Realty network currently has more than 9,500 sales associates located in more than 485 offices in 33 countries and territories worldwide. Hammock Sotheby’s International Realty listings will be marketed on the sothebysrealty.com global website. In addition to more referral opportunities and widened exposure generated from these sources, the firm will benefit from an association with the Sotheby’s auction house and worldwide Sotheby’s International Realty marketing programs.

Hammock Sotheby’s International Realty is located at Number Two Camino del Mar, Palm Coast, Fla., 32137, and can be reached at (800) 552-1136. The company has ten sales associates that serve the Palm Coast, Flagler Beach and Flagler County communities.
