RISMEDIA, February 16, 2010—The Ninth Annual National Real Estate Cyber Convention and Exposition opens its seven-day run on Sunday, February 21st and is open to the entire real estate community worldwide.

Convention passes along with convention program information can be found here: www.cyberconventions.com/realestate

The event producer, CyberConventions.com, announced that this year’s grand prize drawing is a luxury cruise for two. The drawing will be held on Saturday, February 27th at 6:00PM (EDT) – the final day of the convention

The convention will feature four major keynote addresses, plus 50 nationally recognized real estate trainers, authors and industry leaders. Keynoters include: Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist of the National Association of Realtors® who will discuss “The 12 Months Ahead – What’s Going to Happen.” “Mr. Internet,“ Michael Russer will present a live keynote: “Dominate Your Online Competition.” The third keynote: “10 Ways to Propel Your Business into the Real Estate Recovery” will be presented by Randy Eagar, President of the Computer Camp. The final keynote will feature Jennifer Allan, author of Sell with Soul who will tell attendees: “No More Doom & Gloom – Let’s Get Ready for the Real Estate Boom!”

The Exposition at the 2010 Convention is free and will feature hundreds of booths open 24 hours a day during the event with the latest new ideas, products and services of interest to today’s real estate professionals. In addition to checking out new products and services at the booths, attendees can win substantial door prizes, hear presentations, view video presentations, get brochures and talk live with the vendors.

Over 200 real estate associations and organizations worldwide have joined to sponsor this unique virtual event which is presented by the Real Estate CyberSpace Society with over 10,000 real estate members from 28 countries. The Major Sponsors for this annual event include RISMedia’s Top 5 Real Estate Network®, Matthew Ferrara & Company and Brainchain. Official Sponsors include Boopsie, Inc, Realty U, Mr. Internet’s Online Dominance Mentoring Program and the CCIM Institute.

Society Executive Director, John M. Peckham III said: “The CyberConvention has evolved steadily over the past eight years and has featured over 200 national speakers. The 2010 Cyber Convention brings real estate professionals all of the excitement and features of a ’hard floor‘ convention plus many that can’t be replicated at a conventional event.”

“This year’s event will be extremely immersive and, in addition to the 50-speaker lineup and exciting exposition, features a brand new Convention social networking center that will allow attendees to network with each other and the speakers in real time. This new and exciting feature was developed jointly with Pathable. In addition, attendees can download the free smart phone app “Cyber Convention” that will enable them to follow the speaker schedule, check out the exhibitors and sponsors and instantly see what is on the program at any given moment! This downloadable app is available free for all Internet-enabled phones including the Android, BlackBerry, J2ME, Palm OS, Symbian S60, Windows Mobile and iPhone. There is also a Web version available for phones that aren’t smart! This application was developed jointly with Sponsor Boopsie.”

“The Society knows that this year’s event is ideal in these “tighten your belt” times. There is very little attendees will miss at this virtual event, Peckham concluded. All of the elements of a ’hard-floor convention‘ will be there. The only thing missing will be out-of-pocket costs for airfare, hotel bills, lost shoe leather, aching muscles, travel hassle and time away from home! Attendees can thank the exhibitors and sponsors for that–it’s their gift to the industry.”
