Education Pays When Working with Today’s Ever-Evolving Consumer

RISMEDIA, March 17, 2011—According to data from the 2010 NAR Member Profile, the median income of REALTORS® with at least one designation was nearly $22,000 more than the income of those with no designation. Understanding the importance of education in a changing market, REBAC and the Center for Specialized REALTOR® Education announce the launch of Training4RE.com this month, an interactive website designed to help agents and brokers easily access the real estate education resources they need to better serve today’s ever-evolving consumer.

Training4RE.com aims to serve as the online resource for real estate professionals looking to earn a professional designation or certification officially endorsed by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). With coursework covering everything from buyer representation to social media and short sales, students can choose to advance their education in whichever niche market they specialize.

Training4RE.com shows you where and how to take courses that lead to valuable designations and certifications. Here are just a few:

ABR® – Accredited Buyer’s Representative designation, for real estate professionals who represent the interests of buyer-clients

e-PRO® – A certification for real estate agents who want to fast-forward their electronic marketing skills and strategies

GREEN – NAR’s Green Designation, the definition of green professionalism, excellence and leadership for today’s real estate practitioners

PMN – Performance Management Network, a designation that’s built from the ground up to bring you the real-world skills, the know-how and the tools that can keep your business out front and on top of a lightning-fast market

SRES® – Seniors Real Estate Specialist®, a designation for real estate agents who want to distinguish themselves as best-in-class in a boomer’s market

And with courses offered both in the classroom and online through NAR’s exclusive online destination for official NAR designations—REALTOR® University—gaining valuable training and education has never been easier.

Students who visit Training4RE.com can find a real estate course by topic, location, date or course title. In addition, users can see descriptions of each program, access course outlines and register for eligible courses as they work toward earning a professional certification or designation. The site also features instructor bios, an interactive poll and newsfeeds to keep users up-to-date on the latest course updates.
