Taking Back Your Market: Recovery Strategies for Brokers

As the real estate market and general economy continue to make gradual progress toward recovery, proactive brokers and real estate professionals are striking while the iron’s hot, employing market-specific strategies to gain marketshare and increase business.

Top brokers from around the country will share their specific strategies for maximizing business as their markets pick up steam during RISMedia’s upcoming Real Estate CEO Exchange, taking place this Sept. 5 & 6 at the Yale Club in New York City.

During the CEO Exchange session, “Making Money in Your Market: Has Your Business Reached a Turning Point?”, brokers and executives drill down from the national perspective to discuss market conditions in their respective regions of the country and the specific challenges they are confronted with. Panelists will provide hands-on strategies for overcoming these challenges and share how they are taking advantage of the unique opportunities their marketplace presents to run a profitable business in a recovering environment.

Taking place on Sept. 5 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m., the sessions will be moderated by RISMedia President & CEO, John Featherston, and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Mason-McDuffie Chairman of the Board, Ed Krafchow, and will feature the insights of the following top brokers:

As brokers come out of safe mode, many are taking advantage of a variety of expansion opportunities in today’s gradually recovering market, including strategic acquisitions and roll-ins, recruiting blitzes, and targeting key market segments, such as REO, investment, global and luxury. This panel of Power Brokers will discuss how to capture all-important marketshare before a full real estate recovery takes hold.
