Members of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE) and Luxury Portfolio International™ will convene this week for the network’s International Symposium at the Grande Real Villia Italia Hotel & Spa in Lisbon, Portugal. In attendance are real estate professionals from many of the best-known local and regional real estate firms across 15 countries in Europe, North America and Asia.
The symposium’s program focuses on issues impacting the global real estate market. Keynote speakers included Richard Rawlings, the United Kingdom’s 2012 Estate Agency Trainer of the Year, who shared innovative marketing strategies, and Matthew Ferrara of Matthew Ferrara & Company, whose presentation focused on “Embracing the Global Marketplace.” REAL Trends Editor Steve Murray provided a global and economic housing forecast, and numerous member speakers shared insights on market trends and strategies. Information on the latest network initiatives were offered by LeadingRE President/CEO Pam O’Connor, Luxury Portfolio President Paul Boomsma, Luxury Portfolio EVP Stephanie Pfeffer and LeadingRE European Director Christoph Dietz.
