Pillar To Post, one of North America’s largest home inspection franchises, added four new franchisees this month, the company has announced. With 10 new territories added in the first quarter of the year and another 10 anticipated in the coming weeks, the company is on track to meet its goal of 75 new locations by the end of 2013.

The new franchisees, who graduated from training on Friday, March 22, include Chad and Mary Bridwell of Athens, Ga., Marshall Mayer, who will service the Denver area, Jeff Pegg from Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Joseph Colyer of Orlando, Fla.
With strong growth already in the first quarter of this year, Pillar To Post is continuing last year’s record success. In 2012, the company posted new franchise recruiting numbers 250 percent higher than 2011. The company also saw 20 percent sales growth last year through a combination of more inspections, a broader service offer, and new franchisees.
Growth is helped by the continued resurgence of the real estate industry. According to a report from the National Association of Realtors, existing-home sales in February 2013 increased 10.2 percent over the same period in 2012, and sales were at their highest overall level since November 2009. This means the market is picking back up, signaling strong potential for the growth of home inspection franchises.
