Realtor.com® Users ‘Find It First’ to Win Airstream

Reading Time: 2 mins read

Realtor.com® a leader in online real estate operated by Move, Inc., recently announced “Find it First Hits the Road with Airstream,” a mobile treasure hunt with iconic lifestyle brand Airstream, Inc., makers of premium luxury aluminum trailers. The new summer promotion encourages players to search for a virtual Airstream as it travels across the country, using realtor.com® and its mobile app, for a chance to win a grand prize of a 22’ Airstream Sport.

Between June 26 and July 25, participants can search realtor.com® and its mobile app for the Airstream trailer as it travels the highways and byways of America. The Airstream location will be updated throughout the day and teased out to players through Twitter and other social media channels. Each time a participant locates the Airstream in a new location, and sends it to an address specified in the contest rules, he or she will be entered into a weekly prize drawing, as well as the grand prize drawing. Sweepstakes rules permit the grand prize winner to choose an Airstream or $20,000 towards rent or mortgage payments for a year.

“Real estate inventory is at historic lows. Realtor.com® launched Find it First to highlight how accurate and timely real estate listings help home buyers stay ahead of the competition,” says Barbara O’Connor, executive vice president of marketing at Move. “Working with Airstream on a Find it First summer treasure hunt brings an element of fun to the campaign. In addition to the possibility of winning, this contest helps users explore realtor.com® and its mobile apps and become more familiar with our new features, such as school search and estimated home values.”

“Both Airstream and realtor.com® are committed to the concept of ‘home.’ At Airstream, we provide consumers with a home away from home. This promotion aligns the desire of both companies to help people love where they live,” says Mollie Hansen, vice president of marketing at Airstream. “The Find It First promotion is a fun way to highlight the best elements of both our companies.

Realtor.com® kicked off the Find it First campaign in March, with a comprehensive corporate rebranding that included a new website design, logo and the tagline, “Where Home Happens,” alongside a national digital marketing campaign. The marketing and advertising initiative underscores the importance of providing consumers with the tools they need to find the right home and to connect with a REALTOR® at the right time.
