RentalRoost Inc. has launched a secure credit report sharing tool that will make it easier for tenants to share their Experian credit report and score directly with landlords. The credit report is free for landlords and only has a minimal cost for the tenants. Best of all this credit pull will not affect the tenant’s credit score.
This credit report sharing tool can give the tenant that competitive edge he/she needs in today’s cutthroat rental markets without having to worry about their credit score being negatively impacted by frequent credit inquiries. The tenant can choose to privately share their report with one landlord for $14.99 or with as many as 5 landlords for $34.99 for a period of 30 days from date of purchase. Tenants can view their report before they share it with the landlord(s).
This tool can also be used by landlords to request a credit report and score from prospective tenants. At no cost to them, they can, with the tenant’s permission, obtain access to the tenant’s credit report. Landlords can rest assured that the verified credit information is up to date and correct as it comes directly from Experian.

RentalRoost users can search for neighborhoods and properties using criteria such as school quality, kid-friendliness, transit options, entertainment scores and pet-friendliness, alongside traditional criteria like number of bedrooms, baths and price. For each neighborhood, users can also view detailed demographic data including household income, academic achievement and more.
The site also provides Facebook IQ, which uses social media data from users’ Facebook account to make personalized housing recommendations to help them find their “perfect” home.
In April the company introduced their very popular new nationwide home valuation tool that uses several different data points to calculate your current home’s value and monthly rent estimate. The report also features housing market statistics, recent sales and tax assessments.
