This year, Connecticut REALTORS® is continuing the focus of its consumer marketing on illustrating the importance of a REALTOR® in seamlessly executing a real estate transaction. In April, the Association released the “Real Real Estate Advice” campaign supporting this initiative.
The campaign, the company believes, is relatable and to the point. When you’re buying or selling a home, it can seem like everyone around you fancies themselves a real estate expert. Your mom, your daughter, even your roommate from college. They all want to chime in with real estate advice. And while you may politely listen to them, there’s only one person you should actually listen to: Your REALTOR®.
Connecticut REALTORS® used this common, real-life situation as a unique way to engage and educate consumers about the knowledge and expertise of a trained real estate professional. They created a series of 3 social videos and posts to feature on their platforms, and also provide to the individual REALTORS® to use in their own communications.
“Education campaigns like this are essential to advising the public about our mission. This is the first of several campaigns that we will be producing for our Association members this year,” says Carl Lantz, CT REALTORS® Communications Committee Chair and REALTOR® with RE/MAX Premier REALTORS® in West Hartford. “Our campaigns will be supported in paid media channels such as digital and out of home formats, targeting buyers and sellers throughout Connecticut.”
Connecticut REALTORS® hired award winning marketing firm Sleek Machine in 2015. The creative agency will be releasing additional campaigns throughout the year on behalf of the Association.
