Realtor.com®, a leading online real estate destination operated by News Corp subsidiary Move, Inc., recently announced the launch of the Real Ambassador program, bringing together a select group of real estate professionals to contribute valuable insight to enhancing the realtor.com® experience for consumers and professionals, and to serve as advocates in their local communities.
The program, launched during the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Conference & Expo in Orlando, Fla., includes more than a dozen founding members who are top-producing real estate professionals with plans to expand in the future.
“The Real Ambassador program connects our most active users and passionate advocates more deeply with the product development and programs teams here at realtor.com®,” says Suzanne Mueller, senior vice president of industry relations for Move. “They will infuse their expertise in helping to deliver the best possible experience and facilitate the smoothest real estate processes for consumers and professionals alike. Realtor.com® understands that real estate is a people-to-people business, and this program is a logical extension of our relationship with real estate professionals and consumers.”
The program formalizes the ongoing dialogue between realtor.com® and its customer advocates, to contribute insight toward the development of best-in-class products and initiatives, and help foster a deeper connection with consumers in local markets.
Ambassadors bring a combination of depth and breadth of experience, an active and robust real estate portfolio, and a demonstrated affinity for community engagement and advocacy. Ambassadors receive a first look at new realtor.com® products, provide insight on realtor.com® initiatives, products and events, and serve in special events, spotlight interviews, industry panels and presentations. They will also be empowered through training and customized content and materials to help share the benefits of realtor.com® with their local industry community and consumers.
