Facebook Live: How and Why?

Have you been thinking of ways to engage with your followers on social media and build your business at the same time? While there are many ways to do this, there is one option that stands out as the best: Facebook Live.

Using Facebook Live to build your business will not only help you engage with your friends or followers on Facebook, but also provide you with more opportunities to showcase the many aspects of your business. Facebook Live is a great way for your business to show off anything from tips for buying a home to a listing.

What Is Facebook Live?
If you’re not familiar with it, you may have asked yourself “What is Facebook Live?” Facebook Live is a tool available to those who have an active Facebook account. You can use your phone, mobile device, or even your computer to do a live video broadcast to all of your followers and friends on Facebook. This amazing tool allows you to speak directly to your clients, and may also be the place you make your next sale.

How to Use Facebook Live
Using Facebook live is simple. You don’t need much; you just have to have a working mobile device or computer and an internet connection to be able to go live. Then, all you have to do is go to your profile, and where you are able to post your status, click the “Live Video” tab.

Once you click “Live Video,” it’s quite simple from there—but, if you haven’t already allowed Facebook to use your camera and microphone, you may be prompted to allow Facebook permission to use them. Once you’ve allowed Facebook the proper permissions, you’ll be directed to start your live video.

Once you start your video, it’s your time to shine. Share real estate tips with your clients or do a live video of a listing that you’ve been working on. Your clients will be happy to see what you have been up to as a real estate agent, or even to just receive some advice as they prepare to purchase a new home. Just remember one thing: Be yourself.

Benefits for Your Business
There are numerous benefits of using Facebook Live for your business. Yes, showcasing your listing or providing some real estate advice is great, but you have the opportunity to showcase so much more. By using Facebook Live, you’re using organic video to connect with your audience. This means that you’re being yourself and not using a staged video to share with your followers. Your followers on Facebook will enjoy seeing a more organic side of you as a real estate agent.

Besides all of these benefits, Facebook Live is a free video tool that you can use to build your business. Using a tool that can help expose the work you do as a real estate agent to one of the largest social media audiences out there can be a huge asset to your business.

Above all, Facebook Live can drive more traffic back to your profile and/or website. This means that the more viewers you receive on your live video, the more traffic you will receive. Facebook Live provides you with a great opportunity to build your business. The real estate world can be challenging, but hopefully using Facebook Live will make some of the challenges you experience easier to overcome.

Facebook can be a powerful tool for your marketing strategy and a great way to connect with potential buyers. If you need help managing your other social profiles, check out Homes.com Social to engage with homebuyers and sellers and drive more leads.
