Online and in-person, you want to establish yourself as the local real estate expert. Attend community events wearing your name badge, and you will see how many people ask, “How’s the market?”—that’s your cue to engage in meaningful conversation. It is your chance to show your expertise and build your brand authority.
Nurture and grow your network through consistent and meaningful communication, whether an in-person coffee or a weekly newsletter with valuable housing tips or hyperlocal market data. Even if people in your sphere are not ready to buy or sell their home, they will remember the last real estate agent who contacted them when it comes time to enter the market.
