HomeSmart International Attracts Top Industry Veteran to Lead Franchise Sales Growth

HomeSmart International announced that real estate industry veteran Bryan Brooks has joined its ranks to head up worldwide franchise sales for the growing Scottsdale, Arizona-based company. Brooks, who will serve as the vice president of franchise sales, comes to HomeSmart International with more than 15 years of experience in real estate franchise sales, many of which also included managing and developing highly successful sales teams.

“For quite some time I have felt that would be a great asset to our organization and I am ecstatic that the timing is right for him to come on board and join our executive team to lead the future growth of HomeSmart both domestically and internationally,” says Matt Widdows, founder and chief executive officer of HomeSmart International.

Brooks, who is joining HomeSmart most recently from Realogy brand Coldwell Banker Real Estate, has also held positions of leadership at Realty Executives International and under other Realogy brands throughout his established career. Prior to establishing a strong reputation for expertise in franchise sales, Brooks was also ingrained in the real estate industry through the title and escrow sector.

“I’m excited to jump in and begin sharing the HomeSmart model with forward-thinking brokers and brokerages,” says Brooks. “Propelling HomeSmart forward is my goal and I will be looking at different opportunities to grow the brand via a variety of methods, including mergers and acquisitions, roll ins and conversions.”

Brooks will be based out of the company’s brand new, state-of-the-art Scottsdale headquarters office.
