As chief operating officer for The CE Shop, which provides online real estate courses, Dan Harris realized at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic that the company needed to reconnect with its core value of focusing on customers. Harris and his team believe that when students succeed, the company succeeds.

Since The CE Shop operates completely online, it had a unique opportunity to help cash-strapped students with distance learning. The company offered deep discounts to displaced students and partners, added dozens of new team members to provide world-class service, pushed for a free COVID-19 course and created a webpage that addressed licensing exam delays and CE deadlines.
