Agents Speak Out about a Listing Tool that Works

RISMEDIA, March 4, 2008-With more real estate professionals turning to the Internet to help market their listings, Listing Domains users chime in with their praises for the innovative company and the product it offers.

“A seller was prepared to go with another agent until I showed them the demo website I had set up. They were blown away and I got the listing – no discount!” says Beth Caster, Coldwell Banker.

According to the company, the results of the survey submitted to over 6,000 of active Listing Domains users are compelling. Forty-five percent of participants said that they sold a property as a direct result of using Listing Domains. This is a powerful statistic when you consider that 95% of participating users said that Listing Domains helped them on their listing presentation. To find a product that helps agents get the listing, and then sell it, is a rare thing in today’s market. This news comes at a time when according to the 2007 National Association of Realtors Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, 84% of buyers used the Internet to search for homes.

“This form of marketing produces more calls and e-mails from potential buyers than any other. More than TV, newspaper, and magazine!” says Nan Panell of Century 21.

A Listing Domain website, says the company, is a complete free standing website devoted to one property. The domain name is derived from the address of the property e.g. www.555MainStreet.com. Each website comes complete with a free DOMAIN RIDER® sign that attaches to any traditional “For Sale” sign, showcasing the property’s website address. The sites contain detailed information about the property, unlimited photographs, the agent’s photo and contact information, a “solicit feedback” form, the ability to upload property reports and much more.
