5 Industry Veterans Join William Raveis Relocation in Massachusetts

RISMEDIA, January 30, 2009-Chris Raveis, executive vice president and managing partner of William Raveis Real Estate, LLC, Massachusetts welcomed five industry veterans in the company’s thrust to significantly grow its relocation business. These professionals are: Brenda Carey, Fran Freshman, Debbie Potoff and Mary Fader, formerly with The New England Relocation Group (NERG), which was the relocation operation of GMAC’s Hammond, Carlson and Kinlin Grover brands. In 2008, these individuals handled over 500 transactions in Massachusetts. Additionally, Tarin Patrick, former vice president of Relocation Services for Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty, joins the group which will operate as William Raveis Relocation, Massachusetts.

With over 85 years of combined relocation experience, the group is well-known and respected in the industry. Together with William Raveis Relocation, they form a powerful team of professionals that excel at providing the highest level of service to their clients and customers. William Raveis is committed to developing a sales and servicing team to grow and service its corporate transferee business.

Tarin Patrick brings 12 years of experience in relocation services, having managed over 70 corporate accounts with Coldwell Banker, and most recently serving as vice president of relocation with Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty. He has built a strong reputation in the field for his “white glove” approach to customer service and his considerable knowledge of corporate relocation and moving strategies. In his new position as vice president of corporate business development, Patrick will focus on expanding the client base for William Raveis Relocation in Massachusetts.

Brenda Carey brings over 23 years of real estate/corporate relocation experience with the same organization having started with Carlson Real Estate and most recently as relocation director for New England Relocation Group. In her new position as Relocation Director of William Raveis Relocation-Massachusetts, she will continue to manage the Massachusetts team known for its outstanding level of service and expertise.

Debbie Potoff is a senior corporate consultant, having worked at DeWolfe Relocation and most recently New England Relocation Group, has spent the last 15 years specializing in relocation and corporate services. She is recognized for her expertise in understanding both the corporation’s needs as well as those of the relocating employee.

Mary Fader brings over 12 years of corporate relocation experience to her new position as senior corporate consultant. During her tenure with DeWolfe Relocation and New England Relocation Group, she leveraged her extensive knowledge of different areas of the country to counsel her customers. Before becoming a relocation specialist she worked both as a real estate agent and director of the closing division for a real estate law firm.

As a corporate consultant for 25 years, Fran Freshman is dedicated to enhancing her clients’ recruitment efforts and helping them to remain competitive. Freshman started her career in relocation as a tour coordinator for Carlson Real Estate. Her goal is to help the transferee make informed decisions in a timely manner thus minimizing a loss in productivity for the client.
