Rob Norman, Coldwell Banker Realty’s regional president of the eastern region, helped agents navigate changes following the 2024 National Association of REALTORS® commission settlement. In keeping with its tradition of anticipating, rather than just reacting to, changes in the industry, Coldwell Banker began assisting agents months before the deadline.
Last year, Coldwell Banker integrated artificial intelligence into its Listing Concierge program. That streamlined the process of marketing a home and allowed agents to spend more one-on-one time with clients.
Norman focuses on recruiting and retaining top talent. In 2024, he recruited several leading agents and teams and achieved a record 99% agent retention rate in New Jersey.
“At the end of the day, despite all our technological innovations, real estate is still a people business, and it is people that matter. I’m proud that we remain committed to delivering an experience that provides agents all the tools and support they need to grow their business and live awesome lives,” says Norman.
“I greatly look forward to the annual celebrations we organize for our top agents in each region. It’s a great opportunity not only to honor their achievements, but to get to know them on a more personal level.”
For new agents trying to broach the field, no matter how much education they may have garnered before jumping into the business, it can be a challenge to get a handle on the job until you have some years of experience under your belt. Read more.
