Teresa Palacios Smith

A formidable force for equity, Teresa Palacios Smith spent 2025 embedding inclusion into the DNA of the nation’s largest residential brokerage network. Palacios Smith led initiatives reaching over 23,000 agents across 40-plus HomeServices affiliate companies. Her 2025 accomplishments were marked by the launch of REEL Talk, a national film discussion series on fair housing and the expansion of her “Women Who Lead” podcast to over 150 guests. Furthermore, she reached a major milestone with the 25th broadcast of “Diversity MATTERS.”

A Cornell-certified DEI expert, Palacios Smith’s impact extends to the HomeServices Foundation for Housing Equity, where she serves as vice chair. This past year, she spearheaded disaster relief in Texas and proactively trained Spanish-speaking agents on new buyer agency agreements to ensure equitable access to industry changes.
