Prudential Network Realty Meets Real-Life “Blind Side” Couple

RISMEDIA, May 5, 2011—A team of real estate professionals from Prudential Network Realty, a member of RISMedia’s Real Estate Information Network® (RREIN), recently experienced an array of outstanding educational and motivational programs at Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services’ annual convention, including a session with keynote speakers Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, the inspiration behind the best-selling book and movie, The Blind Side.

“The Tuohy’s program was one of the highlights of the convention and it was so inspiring,” says Linda Lindenmoyer, director of relocation and real estate owned services for Prudential Network Realty. “They encouraged the audience to recognize the full potential of others in our community.”

The Tuohys inspired the movie version of their story, which was then nominated for an Academy Award and starred Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw. The film is an adaptation of the book, The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game, by Michael Lewis. It is based on the true story of the Tuohys, who took in teenager Michael Oher who went on to earn a football scholarship at the University of Mississippi and become a first-round draft pick in the National Football League. Oher is now an offensive lineman for the Baltimore Ravens.

“Our conventions offer excellent motivational sessions along with awards programs and training tools,” Lindenmoyer said. “The Tuohys shared a wonderful message, encouraging us not take life for granted and to use our experiences to bring hope and joy to others.”
