open_house_buyersAccording to the 2013 National Association of REALTORS® Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, 45 percent of buyers used open houses as a key part of their home search. Facts from the NAR surveys to home buyers say almost half of all home buyers are going to attend an open house. Being prepared in advance for your open houses is the key to success.

Planning for successful opens begins on Monday, not Friday. By following these tips and preparing well in advance, you’ll be able to turn your next open house from a lost opportunity into a lead-generating event.
