Abe Lee, owner and broker in charge of CENTURY 21 iProperties Hawaii in Honolulu, Hawaii, has been licensed in the real estate industry since 1973. With 43 years in the industry and a passion for helping first-time homebuyers, Lee focuses on real estate education and affordable housing, and strives to provide counseling to those who don’t think they can afford a home in Hawaii.
Lee holds a master’s degree in education and teaches real estate seminars around Hawaii. He has developed over 150 affordable housing projects, written over 30 courses, and taught thousands of students in real estate pre-license, continuing education courses in zoning, condominium development, development analysis, understanding contracts, foreclosures, wills and trusts, tax laws, building systems, land use issues, and more. CENTURY 21 iProperties Hawaii has over 125 agents, and works closely with a non-profit organization that teaches first-time homeowners how to prepare for homeownership.
Lee also focuses on serving clients from other cultures. “Knowing the culture of each country is very important, so our office offers native speakers from Japan, Korea, China, the Philippines, Tonga, South America and France,” Lee told RISMedia in 2018. “Hawaii is an attraction because we’re close to Asian countries and the mainland United States. We’re able to work more successfully with C21 affiliates from around the world because we’re familiar with various cultures and are better positioned to help them adjust to Hawaii.”
