In 2025, Alicia Kosec continued to make a lasting impact on the real estate industry through strategic leadership, market growth and a deeply people-centered approach as president of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services for Northern Ohio and Michigan. With nearly three decades in the business, Kosec led her regions through significant change by restructuring leadership teams, creating new roles with greater accountability and aligning managers around recruiting, listings and day-to-day operational excellence.
Throughout the year, Kosec drove aggressive recruiting and re-engagement initiatives, implemented listing-focused campaigns supported by office-level training, and coordinated nearly 500 homes open across multiple markets during large-scale open house events. She also planned luxury networking and marketing initiatives, advanced the adoption of Howard Hanna’s technology platforms, and delivered consistent coaching frameworks designed to elevate productivity and leadership performance across offices.
“Leadership is about more than numbers,” Kosec says. “It is about inspiring people, creating opportunities for others to succeed, and helping our industry evolve through times of change. “
Beyond business growth, Kosec is a vocal advocate for mentorship, professional development and community engagement, expanding regional participation in philanthropic efforts supporting Howard Hanna’s Children’s Free Care Fund. “At its core, real estate is about relationships and impact. The impact we have on clients, communities and most of all, on the people we lead, is why I consider this work not just a career, but a calling.”
